새벽1시 이전에 잠들었던 적이 없다.
뜬 눈으로 밤을 지새우기도 하고,
때로는 동이 트는 것을 바라보며 잠이 들기도 한다.
빛이 있거나 작은 소리에도 잠을 이룰 수 없다.
깊은 수면 후에 일어날 때는 기분이 좋지만,
언제나 잠자리에 들어 수면에 빠지기까지는 항상 너무나 괴로운 순간이다.
눕는 순간이면 언제나,어서 내일 아침이 왔으면 좋겠다라고 생각한다.
잠자리에 누워서 하루 일과를 정리해야만 한다.
아침에 눈을 떠서 내가 해왔던 일들과
내가 내뱉은 말들을 되돌아 본다.
그리고 그리운 사람들을 생각한다.

나는 공상가이다.
언제나 행복한 상상만을 꿈꾼다.
